In schools, the shift in thinking from bookish knowledge to living knowledge has resulted in a sea of change. People are warming to the idea of education as a means to a well-rounded growth rather than just a means to obtain degrees and financial success. Learning must aid in the development of a healthy line of thought and the enhancement of our cognitive talents. The following areas of school instruction must be prioritised, as they are critical to the development of young brains as they become adulthood. Any society's basis is built on education. ABOUT RISHIKESH

Rishikesh, also known as the Yoga Capital of the World, is a peaceful retreat for individuals seeking calm in a fast-paced world. Rishikesh is a small village in Uttarakhand, around 25 kilometres from Haridwar, that encompasses faith and Hinduism like no other place in India. Rishikesh, which is located on the banks of the sacred Ganges and in the foothills of the great Himalayas, attracts travellers all year. The town is a well-known pilgrimage destination in the country. Rishikesh is also a popular vacation spot due to the section of the Ganges River where explorers may go river rafting and kayaking. Other adventure activities such as mountaineering, cliff jumping, hiking, trekking, bungee jumping, and so on are available near the town. Visiting this lovely town and understanding its true significance is the greatest way to learn about it.
Rishikesh's origins can be traced back to the mythological state of Kedarkhand (Garhwal region). Rama is said to have done devotion here for defeating Ravana. Lord Vishnu, delighted by Ram, revealed to him in the form of Hrishikesh. It is from here that Rishikesh gets its name. Indrakund, which flourished in Rishikesh, is also mentioned in the Skanda Purana's Kedar Khand.
According to legend, Lakshman Jhula spanned the Ganges River with a jute rope. In 1889, the jute bridge was rebuilt with an iron bridge. It was preceded by the floods of 1924, which wiped away the bridge. It was reconstructed once again by the modern bridge, which is more stronger.
Thousands of people visit Rishikesh each year because of its cultural, mystical, and religious legacy. This village on the banks of the holy Ganges River has been a holy favourite spot for many monks and yogis since ancient times, with hundreds of notable and lesser temples.
